For over 25 years, Pure Effect has designed, built, rented, and run water and air treatment systems for construction and industrial sites across Southern California. We stock a complete line of equipment — holding tanks, pumps, sand and bag filters, carbon vessels, and flow meters — so the system your job needs is in stock and ready to ship.
Pure Effect sells and rents treatment equipment and provides the services to run it — for construction sites, industrial facilities, and environmental cleanups. Whatever the application, we stock the equipment, design the system, and can operate it onsite.
Turnkey systems for dewatering, groundwater remediation, stormwater, wastewater, soil vapor extraction, greywater, and air / odor control. Design, build, rent, or operate.

In-house tank fabrication and welding means we build the system to the job — for lease or purchase — and ship it worldwide. Vessels, tanks, and skids come out of our own shop, not a third-party queue.
Maintaining such a large inventory lets us implement each project-specific system in the most timely and cost-effective way possible. Holding tanks, pumps, filters, and carbon vessels are on the shelf when the job calls for them.
Onsite services, project management, engineering design, and NPDES / sewer-discharge permitting, so one call covers the whole job — from the plumbing to the Regional Board.
Pure Effect designs and rents water treatment systems for PFAS and for uranium, arsenic, and boron removal from impacted groundwater. In parts of California these elements run above the drinking-water MCL and require treatment. Our potable-water designs serve small and large community wells, with pre-treatment and filtration vessels built for maximum removal efficiency.
California maximum contaminant levels we design our systems to meet.

Before a construction site can discharge groundwater into the storm drain, an NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permit must be obtained from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board. Depending on the site's location, that process can take 6–12 weeks. Discharge without it and you risk the site being shut down — and fines of up to $25,000 per day.
Pure Effect turn-keys the whole application, and reduces your risk of delays and penalties.
Southern & Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, and Oregon — the right system, delivered and ready to run.
We build our own equipment for lease or purchase — and ship it throughout the world.
Partnered with companies across the United States to offer one solution for all your environmental needs.
Both. Our complete line of equipment is available for rent or purchase, so you get the right equipment for your application — with dependable operation for the whole project. Whether renting or buying makes sense depends on your capital, how often you'll use it, and your project mix; renting avoids the up-front capital and the depreciation and maintenance of ownership.
Yes. We turn-key the NPDES permitting application — sampling and lab testing, the application itself, treatment system design, and discharge monitoring and reporting to the Regional Board — to reduce your risk of delays and penalties.
We service Southern and Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, and Oregon with our rental systems, and we manufacture equipment for lease or purchase worldwide.
No — we run the system too. We offer turnkey onsite services and project management: engineering design, system build, operation, and carbon change-outs (vacuum & rebed).
Groundwater is pumped into a holding tank where solids settle, then transferred through mechanical filtration (sand and bag filters) and media vessels (typically granular activated carbon) that remove dissolved contaminants, and finally metered and discharged according to the site's permit.
SVE is an in-situ method that applies a vacuum through wells to draw volatile contaminants (VOCs) out of unsaturated soil; the extracted vapor is treated through activated carbon before being released to the atmosphere. We offer skid- and trailer-mounted SVE rental packages.
Yes. Send us a sample and we'll test the life remaining; if it's spent, the filter can be recharged or exchanged. With our large inventory of exchange filters, your system is only down for a short period.
Yes — we design and rent systems for PFAS and for uranium, arsenic, and boron removal from impacted groundwater, including potable-water designs for community wells.
